    Hi,

    I’m trying to save a feed, but everytime I click on the “save and generate feed” button I get the aforementioned error. The plugin worked once, but accessing the generated feed gave 403 (forbidden) error on the server.
    I’m working in a multisite environment.

    Hello @kove,

    Have you tried the following?

    1. Deactivate and then activate the plugin. Test the issue again.
    2. If that does not resolve the issue, deactivate and reinstall the plugin over the current installation. Than activate it again and test the issue.
    3. If it still does not work, remove the plugin through the plugins page (be aware, this will also delete all existing feeds) and reinstall it. Then test the issue again.
    4. If Feeds freeze when you create them in the manager, see if you have enough memory limit 256MB at least and more for bigger shops.
    5. Open the Console Tab of your browser (see below on how to do that) and check if you get any error message in the console whilst generating the feed. If you see any error message there, make a screenshot and send that to me.
    6. If you don’t see any error message on your Console Tab, look for any error log file in the ‘wp-content/plugins/wp-product-feed-manager’ folder and in the ‘wp-content’ folder or in the root folder of your web server. If you find any error log file send that to me.
    7. If you can’t find an error log file, try to put your wp-admin account in debug mode (see below on how to do that) and repeat steps 3 and 8.
    8. Let me know if all the steps above did not help

    To open the Browser Console Tab press, depending on your preferred browser: CNTRL+SHFT+J (for Chrome) CNTR+SHFT+K (for Firefox) or F12 (for Explorer). If you work on a Mac: (CMD+OPT+J for Chrome or CMD+OPT+K for Firefox).

    Did you enter a target country?
    Seems that the database is missing that field.

    Did you fully reinstall the plugin?

    plugin fully reinstalled. As I said I’m working in a multisite environment. Where should I set the target country?

    Alright, that is something to go on.
    Could you check your browser console to see if you have any error notices whilst loading the feed editor? If you see any error message there, make a screenshot and send that to me.

    Could you please select the “Show all” settings so I can check if there is anything different from what is normal?

    Also, make sure to refresh the page using CNTRL F5 with the Browser Console Tab on.

    So; select the Show all (I think that is “Tutto”?), refresh the page using CNTRL F5 (Windows) or Apple + R (Mac) and make a new screenshot from that page.

    Could you check if your database contains a table named “wp_feedmanager_country” (the prefix might be different) and that it contains a list of countries?

    Thanks @kove,

    The table is empty so we can conclude that the plugin failed to install fully.

    Please take the following steps:
    1. Deactivate and delete the plugin through the Plugins page. Make sure the plugin is removed from both the multi-site network mode as well as the specific website.
    2. Install the plugin in the multi-site network admin mode (so not in any specific website) but do not activate it here.
    3. Then switch to the specific website admin page from where you want to use the plugin and activate it there. (So you’re using the Activate option and not the Network Activate option)

    Let me know if that solved the problem.

    I just checked, the folder wppfm-feeds does not exist.

    Does a https://english.chiaragini.it/wp-content/uploads/wppfm-feeds folder exist and if so does that maybe contain the Chiara-Gini.xml feed?
