    Hi,

I'm unable to setup the Share This plugin 5.0.0

When I try and save the settings I am logged out of WordPress admin. I've tried different settings but the same result happens every time.

Any clues or advice would be much appreciated.

Can you tell me the WordPress version and the browser on which you faced this issue ?

    Hi,

I tried using sharethis plugin on wordpress 3.3.2 .
It seems to be working fine.
Can you please try re-installing the latest plugin(5.0.1) from here:

and please let me know if it still doesn't work for you.

    Hi,

I've just installed the most recent version of the Share This plugin (v.5.0.1) and am experiencing the same issue. It logs me out when I try to save the settings. Perhaps it is a quirk with my setup, which is a shame as it looks like a great plugin,

    Thanks.

    Hi,
Can you please make sure that you've admin rights since admin rights are required to install the plugin and update the settings?

Hi and thanks for getting back.

Yes, I login as the administrator in the WordPress dashboard. The only issue with my install is that i have to update my htaccess file in the root manually. Could this be a possible cause?

    Hi,
I'm not sure but it can be causing the issue.
Can you please check the access rules in your htaceess file and retry?
