saving mainpage blog as a template

  • hello,

I’m new to wordpress and am currently trying to convert my static paged website over to a “blogged site”. I’m at the beginning steps of this and cannot find anywhere on how to save one page as “many pages” for the site. Could someone send me a link to the tutorial or explain. Iv’e got my mainpage done, (well, banner logo anyway) and want to multiply that page so all pages are same format…so to speak.

  • The beauty of the php/mysql based content management is that basically you have ONE index file that will display all your content from the database = meaning you don’t “multiply” that one file.

If you are into theme building – get over to the Codex + download and dissect several themes… until you get it.

thanks for the info mosho, I’ll study on………….
