 * Hi, I am having an issue that when I try to change anything in the “Styles” tab,(
I am trying to make the layout padding 0), and save it, it gives an error “Saving
failed.”. It only happens with twenty twenty-three theme. I had the same error
when trying to change the background color, then was able to change it, and now
I cannot change it and save again…
 * (All this because for some reason the layout  size changed and it does horizontal
scrolling and I don’t want that, but cannot make the padding 0 without the saving
   error.)
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fsaving-failed-7%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Hi [@saulornelas](https://wordpress.org/support/users/saulornelas/) do you remember
what could have happened for you to be able to save the background color changes?
 * This might be a conflict, please attempt to disable all plugins including Gutenberg.
If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your
   troubles.
If you are worried about how your site will look when you deactivate
the plugin, you can use the Health Check plugin to troubleshoot your site [Health Check](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/)

 * Just found out what was the problem. Seems like this problem is common on people
hosting the website on Dreamhost. Disabling “Web Application Firewall” on Dreamhost
   pannel solves this problem.

 * Glad you found the culprit, which sounds like the same issue [reported here.](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/saving-failed-for-global-style/?#post-16478857)
As I mentioned there, “I’d also encourage you to report the issue directly to
Dreamhost so they can look at why their security setting is causing this problem.”

 * THANKS – as I just had the same problem, and was very frustrated and making no
progress for a while. But it was an option in the Dreamhost panel, now turned
off, and now my WP site works again.
