# Saving data

 * Hi,
 * I’m really interested in the long term tracking of my website, so I set the “
   Retain data for” to zero.
 * But whenever there is an update, this value is set to 120 days (= standard) again.
   All other settings are kept except this.

 * That’s strange. Could you please open your own thread and post more info about
   your environment. Were you updating from a really old version of Slimstat? Have
   you checked the tables in the database?

 * Do you mean older than 120 days? We are going to set the default from now on 
   to 0, so that no data is overwritten or deleted.
