Hi, you showed how to change the size of the overlay by adjusting the width and hight in the bp-profile-message-ux.php file. But I still don’t know how to save the new adjustments from being overwritten with the next update. I have created a bp-profile-message-ux folder in my child theme for the php file, but the changes does not apply.

Could you please advise me, where and in which folder I should ad the bp-profile-message.php file in my child theme?

    Thanks

    Carsten

You cannot overload files, from any plugin, in your child theme unless they are template files.
There are no template files in BuddyProfileMessageUX Free.
You will simply need to remember your changes and reapply them to any update. Keep a local copy of the plugin so that you can see what you did.

Hi Shane, thanks for the clarification. A suggestion could be to change the default size to 300 by 400 px, this would fit mobile perfectly and still be an acceptable size on desktop as well.

    Regards
    Carsten
