# Saving a Theme

 * I’m still a beginner. Can someone please explain how to save a theme from the
   WordPress Theme Directory so that it shows up in my themes. I follow the prompts
   but I only get as far as having saved it on my external hard drive. I don’t know
   what to do from there. I’m trying to save Magazine Basic.

 * After the file is on your computer, you have to upload it to the WordPress folder
   wp-content/themes
 * If you don’t have a program to FTP files, you can either get FileZilla

   or use the File Manager program in your webhosting control panel.

 * Thanks guys. I just tried uploading to my File Manager and I got about 6 error/

 * I have no idea. I think I’m going to phone a help desk. This “easy” blogging 
   is killing me.
