    My wp-cron.php stopped working and I wanted to ensure there were not more scheduled events for when I would get it working again to avoid -say – sending the same newsletter 5 times.

    With this I found the cron job, backed-up the list of crons (just in case anything else went sideways), deleted the newsletter cron, and breathed a sigh of relief.
