For psychological questionnaires we need to save the point of each category And displayed on the dashboard results page .

For example, the score of each question is stored in a category.
Questions 1, 2, 4, 8 and 10 will be in the same category.
    Questions 3, 5, 6, 7 and 9 in another category.

    This is very necessary.

    Hi @1farakav,

To save and display the results of questions category wise, you need to use the following %CATEGORY_POINTS_X% where X=question id of the question.

You can find the question id of each question on the top right corner.

Let me know if you have any other query.

    Kind regards,
    Kriti

    Ho Both

I have a similar questionnaire to farakav and the above solution not quite sure ….

Mine questionnaire is about adherence to success principles

Its a questionnaire with 6 categories and 5 questions for each category
I want to total the scores by category

    Category 1 score 23 category 2 score 27 etc

This means I need to add together the scores for each of the 5 questions within each of the categories and display it n either results page for email as a total against that category
I need to do this for all 6 categories ?

Kriti thank you – I get this bit

“To save and display the results of questions category wise, you need to use the following %CATEGORY_POINTS_X% where X=question id of the question”

But I need to add together 5 questions so how do I input this I tried with a comma between each question number but no result help please

    Thanks Tim

    Hi @timpowellmonkey,

You can display category points for each category using %CATEGORY_POINTS_X% variable. You will have to use this variable for all the categories for which you want to display the points.

You can use %POINTS_SCORE% variable to calculate score for all the questions.

After this you can use the following text for example for all the categories:

“You scored %CATEGORY_POINTS_Travel% points in travel category out of total %POINTS_SCORE% points scored by you.

You scored %CATEGORY_POINTS_book% points in Book category out of total %POINTS_SCORE% points scored by you.”

Let me know if this helps with your query and apologies if I misunderstood your query.

    Kind regards,
    Kriti
