Save page doesn’t update child using Elementor

I’m testing out the plugin and notice that when I update the parent page content in Elementor, the child does not update. I have to go back to the normal WP page editor and hit update to see the child page get updated. Is that the normal behavior? Or is the Rebroadcast add-on for that purpose? I do not have the add-on pack yet so maybe that’s the issue?
