 * I forgot about child themes and modified a theme. Can I save it after the fact
as a child theme and if so, how?
Thank you. (My site is still only local hosted
   so no link)

 * When you create your child theme, make a copy of every file that you modified
over to your child theme folder. If you made changes to the style.css file, and
if you can figure out what changes you made, then just copy over those changes
to your child theme’s style.css file. Otherwise, you’ll have to copy over the
entire contents of the parent theme’s style.css into your child theme’s style.
   css file.
