    Hi folks,

Very surprised that this allows a user to right click an image and download it to their computer using “save image as”. These are proofs to approve, not to download. How can I turn that off?

    Thanks.

    Hi Bob

We didn’t disable right clicks by default, because we believe it isn’t the best way to truly protect images. But, as we got this request a lot, we added this a while ago as a free add-on. Be aware though that this is never a 100% safe solution, as images that are displayed in a browser can always also be downloaded, if a user knows how.

You find all the infos about how to disable right clicks here

    Thanks. Will check your link.

If you don’t think this is the best way, what do you recommend? I can’t see making it easy for a client to download an unfinished image, so I do think it needs protection.

Got it. And I do watermark. Though image could be cropped as I don’t like watermarks across the center of a image. This should suit my needs. Appreciate it.

Yes, watermarking is possibly the best way to protect those unfinished images.

Thanks, I’ll close this topic. If you have anything else just open a new one or send us an email.
