• I run an online artist management. Built 4 types of registration forms with FSCF, and (details, and lot of attachments, photos, videolinks, etc, about 40 or more custom fields, and then suddenly I don’t know why, after “save changes” started to give 404 error page, the address writes: …/wp-admin/options.php. I thought, there is a limit of extra fields, but I made any changes, delete, change slug, etc, after “save changes” gives again and again the 404 fcuk. Sorry. 🙂 Help me please! 🙂

  • Hi, this means that one or more fields is giving you the 404 error.

What shortcode are you adding to the page? Or are not able to go as far as adding the shortcode?

Can you share when did this 404 error begin to appear? What I mean did it appear after you started to add custom fields? Or did it appear before you started adding custom fields?

    Thank you

I added custom fields maybe 40 or more, and then 10 seconds for worked, then the next hit on save changes” gave 404. Now I backed up my forms, deleted and reinstall FSCF, but the problem still there. Now the fresh installed app gives 404 after the first custom field added. I thought its the max_input_vars, but this way its not. (but I’m not a pro)

I mean I am working on a form, add a field, hit the “save changes”, and immediately gives a 404 page of my theme…. strange

How much memory do you have allocated to your WordPress?

Can you explain the following further.

I thought its the max_input_vars, but this way its not. (but I’m not a pro)

I tried to find solution and read somewhere, that maybe dozens of fields is more than the php can handle, but after uninst. and reinstall, brand new form after the first field added hit the save and after a few seconds not the form appears with the new field, but the 404 page

Try to disable all your other plugins except this one. Then see if you still receive 404 error message when saving your form.

    Done. Nothing. Same.

    Try and follow these instructions.

That was what I mentioned, I’ve read.

And did you add any of the options mentioned in the URL to your website or server? You still have not told me how much memory do you have allocated to your website?
