If you’re unable to save the settings it’s most likely due to a javascript error on the settings page. I would suggest disabling other plugins one at a time to see if it is a conflict with another plugin, and switching themes temporarily. The issue shouldn’t arise on a fresh install with no plugins on a default theme. In translating some strings you use the double quote ” character but this causes an error in php, since it closes a previous string.
