    Hello,
    I updated to 1.4.4 now, and test it.

    I have selected Save Abandoned Checkouts option, does it mean when the customer redirect to paypal if select PayPal express method from general list of gateways on the checkout page, there will be an order as pending (this will like select PayPal standard payment method). but it not saved any order.

    second, if I add the product to the cart, and go to checkout page, if I don’t fill anything in the billing and shipping address, and select PayPal express method from general list of gateways,then click button, it will show “10727 – The field Shipping Address1 is required”, I think this is correct, but, after this, if I click the paypal express button on the cart page, or the checkout page( not in the general list of gateways on this page), it will check the shipping address and show “10727 – The field Shipping Address1 is required”, can’t redirect to the paypal page. in 1.3.3, it can redirect to the Paypal in the same situation.

    Could you please re-test these two cases?

    Saving Abandoned Carts is for when the user leaves the site to go to PayPal, but never makes it back to finalize the order. This will get saved as Pending with whatever data it had available at that time so that you can potentially follow up on the order.

    for the shipping address required problem, we’ve had a few reports of this, however we have been unable to reproduce it ourselves, so it’s proving difficult to troubleshoot. The details you provided may help, though.

    We are looking to get this resolved as soon as possible and will get a 1.4.5 update pushed when we do. I’ll be sure to update you here when this particular issue is fixed so you can grab the update early if you’d like to.

    We believe we have resolved this issue in the release branch on GitHub. The fix will be included in the 1.4.5 update we’ll be releasing soon. If you’d like to grab it early you can use that link to download and update manually. It would be great if someone could verify this does indeed resolve your issue. Thanks!

    Per our in-house testing this is resolved and will be fixed in the 1.4.5 update we’re releasing shortly.
