    Hi,

By default UpdraftPlus saves the backups on your local server. If you want the backups to be saved only on your remote storage, you need to enable the “delete local backups” which can be found in the UpdraftPlus “Settings” tab > Show expert options.

    Hi,

Backups are stored in the “wp-content/updraft” folder of you local server.
Hope I have answered your question.

Ok thank you . But i am afraid to make restoration and that broke my website

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

You could try restoring your site in a development site first or as our lead developer have said try using our UpdraftClone tool.

    Hi,

    Yes, that is correct.
You can clone your site using your own backup.
