Static Text On Home Page Only – Please Help

  • I am using the Amazing Grace Theme and I can’t see to get the Static Text to remain on the Home Page only. It populates to all other pages. Can someone please help me.

  • Might use a sticky post to do that.

If you continue this thread please explain what you mean by static text (a page, a post, something else). A link to see the problem, to see that static text, might help.

Michael – here is the link to site http://www.authenticselflifecoaching.com. On the home page (main index) I have put the text. If you click on About it is also on that page. Please help me or let me know any other info you need. I am desperate.

On the home page (main index) I have put the text.

How did you “put” that text? Hard-code it–if so the you may wan to use the Conditional Tag is_home().

Did you try the sticky post?

Michael – where do i insert the conditional tag, before the loop? Thanks so much for all your help.

If so please paste that template in a pastebin and report the link back here. Thanks.
