• I need a development tool which would allow me to manually position objects around my content area without structuring them into columns or rows. I’m trying to develop a site that is nearly completely free of text, has little content, and doesn’t require much use of navigation, blogs, or widgets. The reason I’m using wordPress is because I don’t know how to create a stylesheet from scratch.

Picture it this way, imagine you toss a bunch of toys into a sandbox, they all land haphazardly in the sand, and that’s it. take a snapshot of everything and that’s your website. You can click on each toy to open an image or movie or to find another page.

is this even possible? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

And as new content becomes available, more ‘toys’ get tossed into the box. Until it’s very cluttered looking, overlapping images, hidden images etc.

How about something like this: you take three objects and put them in the box and that’s it. No other content. But each object is fixed to its position.

I’m thinking i might have to create the ‘sandbox’ in photoshop with all the images already positioned. then in wordpress find something where I can make a click area to position over the objects. But this would be very tedious, and really I don’t want to go that route.
