  • Let’s try this again.
I finally got my site up, running, and looking like I wanted. One of the things I didn’t like about MoveableType was the effort required to change the look of the thing and the lack of examples to steal from. So when I found Alex’s WordPress style page, I was in heaven at the examples available. I quickly stole from Dots and Zen to patch together my site, http://www.samuraipanda.com. Overall I like the layout, but I’m running into a couple of problems.
    1. The pic of the kid in the corner stays in the corner if the page resizes and I can’t figure out how to keep it aligned above the left bar. Ideally the entire left bar would remain on the left hand side and not move with window resizes.
    2. When the browser resizes, I would like the content text to stretch out, but I can’t figure out how.
    Any suggestions is appreciated.

For (2), you have your content width set at 420px. If you want that to alter, set it as a % instead. Do try different screen sizes when setting this though.
This might help with (1), I’m not sure ..

I really like your domain name 😉

Just put the image inside the menu div. That will do it. I like pandas,. WTWP 😉

Got it working. I made some minor edits to css and everything seems fine in IE and Firefox. Thanks for the help.
