# sample page deleted

 * I made a few pages estra that showed up as links in the menu – just as the should.
   Then I deleted the sample page – not really knowing what it was for. And now 
   i get an error message on the index page saying: NOT FOUND
    when I click at the“
   home” link The index page is showing but with this error message i very big fonts
   and the search box extended…

 * Sounds like you need to go into your admin – settings – reading
    and set “Front
   page displays” to either a static page which could be any page, or Your latest
   posts.(be sure that the page actually is available) save the settings. test then
   go to admin – settings – Permalink Settings and ensure that they are set as you
   desire, then save those. ensure your permalinks are working, test
