same product different category different image

Hallo
i was wondering if there is a way to show different product images to the same product depending on which category it is opened under?

i have some products that can be applied to different category’s
so, for example:
category: 1
category: 2
product: A

costumer goes to Category1 –> productA and sees image-1A
but if she goes to Category2 –> productA she sees image-2A
does this make any sens? is it possible? or do i need to make product copies?
and if i need too make copies is it possible to give them the same SKU? so it will update my inventory when it is sold
