same images in webpage, one is low quality, the other high ? only in wordpress

    Hi all,

    I have 1 image which I used on my webpage, although 1 is used as a menu icon and the other floats next to a paragraph. The image which is floating is low quality, and the other is pretty high. They are the same image, same url. THe problem is only in wordpress, when I copy my code to a jsfiddle for example, the images looks fine.

    How can this be ?

    Can we see a page with these images on? Best guess otherwise is that you are relying on the browser to resize the image – which it does very badly.

    I see what the problem is I think.
    When I preview my page, it opens a new webpage where the images I mentioned are low quality. But when I copy the url from the editer mode, and open it in a new tab. The quality is good and other little problems disappear. Weird :S

    Know why that is ??

    The link above leads to a 404 page. Is that correct?

    I can see the page now but I can’t see any difference in quality between the “menu” images at the top and the same images as section markers further down. As you mentioned previously, this possibly could be an artefact of the “preview page” link but it’s not one I’ve ever come across before.

    Have you tried using a different browser to rule out any browser-specific issues?

    Yea I tried it on internet explorer, there it looks good as well.
    I think it is kinda irritating to constantly copy the url. But
    I don’t think I can change much :S

    Sorry but this one currently has me stumped. Gut instinct suggest that it’s a browser issue but not one that I’ve been able to replicate.

    On this page which image is it that has poor quality? https://ideaslab.sbg.ac.at/new-modules-page/ – For me it says “Page not found”
