 * Is it possible to set WP up in a way that allows multi-domains, with access to
   the same database data?
 * I’m setting up a main website and one of the publications is a mobile version.
The mobile site will not have all the data that the main website has, so will
require a different theme to control the output.
 * Am I able to do this using MU?
 * Would I have to install WP, then install it again on “m.” selecting the same
database whilst using a different theme?

 * Try looking for a mobile plugin.

 * Thanks for replying Esmi.
 * Unfortunately, I can’t be reliant on a plugin for this in the first instance.
My stakeholders have already criticized the “just plugin it” solution culture
with WordPress, so we need to address the questions above with separate installs
etc rather than rely on third party code.
 * Do you know if MU allows you to run subdomains with the same content but different
themes? Or, if a second install of WP is possible running off the same DB with
   a different theme?

 * As far as I am aware, neither of those are possible.

 * I should also add that I’m not a fan of the plugin culture either and rarely
have more than about 6 or 8 plugins on a site but this is one instance where
a plugin really is the best option.
