 * Trying out this plugin and the wp-config file states that the staging site is
   using the same/original database… is this by design?

 * Yes it is. But the tables are separated by a unique prefix. This is also described
   in the plugin description.

 * On second thought I do have a question about this.
 * With the clone using the same database, what is the workflow for exporting/importing
   posts/pages for testing. If the databases were separating they could just be 
   copied over. What do you recommend for keeping the sites in selectively in sync?
