    Hi all,

I want to use the same content from my current wp site, but have a different theme and different subdomain..

    is this possible?

    ie:
    xyz.domain.com > theme1 > same content
    abc.domain.com > theme2 > same content

    many thanks,

    Jim

Yes but you shouldn’t do it. Google and other search engines see that as duplicated content, and mark you down.

What’s the purpose of doing that?

    thanks for the reply.

i want to show the second theme as an iframe on a third party site, I dont want to use rss.

any ideas if this can be done?

    thank you,

    Jim

    **bump**

I’m wondering too. Could you elaborate, Ipstenu?

Honestly callender was asking questions outside the purview of MultiSite.

My answer is the same: DON’T duplicate your site 100% except for theme. Google will see that as duplicated content. You don’t wanna do that. It’s bad for SEO, it’s bad for your visitors (you’ve now split your traffic and revenue between two sites), and it’s a pain to maintain.

Oh jesus. I’ll figure it out myself.
