Sales not showing up in Orders

    I’m using WP Express Checkout to pay for a registration, and we’ve been getting emails from some people who say they’ve paid and received a receipt from PayPal, but they don’t show up in our Orders. I checked one of these, and the date and time on the receipt matches the date and time of a failed attempt in the log:

    2021-10-07 16:57:26: [SUCCESS] Received IPN. Processing payment ...
2021-10-07 16:57:26: [FAIL] Code 3004 - No transaction info found in transient.

    What would cause this to happen and is there anything I can do about it?

    What is the name of your product? Please copy and paste the product name/title that you are using so we can see if there is any special characters in there which is getting caught up in the sanitation process.

    The product name is Aging With Dignity. There are no special characters.

    It doesn’t happen all the time. About 1/4 of the sales are not showing up as orders.

    Have you put that same product on multiple different pages of your site? Or they are on one page? I am trying to see if there is any particular difference when it fails and it passes.

    Nope, it’s on only one page of the site.

    Again, I just want to make sure I’ve explained it well enough… When the failures happen, the sales show up in paypal and the customer gets a paypal receipt. But, they aren’t listed in the Orders and no confirmation emails go out from the plugin. It’s important that the customers receive the confirmation email because it contains a link that they need.

    Hi,
    I have the same exact problem as farberama:

    The sales show up in Paypal and the customer gets a paypal receipt, but they aren’t listed in the Orders of WP Express Checkout

    It happens about 1 or 2 times on 100 sales
