    I tested our store in live mode with a real credit card. Transaction went through to Authorize.net The order status in the sales log says “order received”. When I try to change it to “accepted payment” the wheel just spins. I thought maybe I needed to wait until the next day when they batch the transaction. The next day, the status on Authorize.net says “settled successfully” but in my sales log still says “order received”. Is this supposed to update automatically? Or should I be able to change it?

    We completed the sale on Authorize.net site. Should I have tried to change it inside Wp-ecommerce sales log first? If I try to change it, it just spins. If I select it and choose under bulk option in the top left, and choose “accepted payment” it says failed to capture.

    Hi Bloke, if Authorize.net supports IPN (Instant Payment Notification) it should change the status within your store, changing the sale status via Authorize.net should notify WP e-Commerce. Check you have filled in your IPN details within the Authorize.net settings screen and that you are using the latest Plugin release.

    Seems like it is working. We are using CIM with Authorize.net I think IPN is standard with CIM. If a sale was declined it would show the status correct so I knew this part was working. Since we are authorizing and capturing later I was not doing the steps in order. We also are editing the tax amount then capturing. So what I have done is change the status manually inside the sales log to “payment accepted” instead of doing it inside Authrize.net and it successfully sent it to Authorize.net. We were editing the amount and capturing on Authorize.net and this was the issue. Inside the sales log it said “unable to capture”.
