# Sage compatibility

 * We use Sage theme which utilizes Blade template: [https://github.com/roots/sage](https://github.com/roots/sage)
 * Although we have a section in the code that runs `comments_template()` function(
   and it works properly), the plugin seems to fail to override. We ended up following
   suggestion to directly call PHP file in our template:

 * This seems like a fragile approach that depends on the file name to stay the 
   same forever. Is there any way you can fix compatibility with Sage theme?

 * Hi Elisha,
    I think something is irregular in this theme. wpDiscuz works well
   on almost all themes it use the <?php comments_template() ?> template function.
   So I think this theme has some hooks or do some extra things with this function.
   I’m really sorry but we don’t do theme specific development. It’s hard to debug
   whole theme. It’s better to ask this theme developers to make the theme compatible
   with wpDiscuz.
