Safari still broken in “Write Post” window

I’m very disappointed that WordPress 2.0 *still* has not fixed the problem with Safari not being able to use the shortcuts for bold, hyperlinks, italic, etc etc.

I realise this is partly an “Apple issue”, however, I believe WordPress also must shoulder a large part of the responsibility here, as Safari is perfectly capable on other sites (and in other blogging software).

I hope this issue is solved with an upcoming release.
