• Hello, is there a way to host my media files on S3 and still keep the old urls path(mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/file.jpg)?

  • You can use a custom domain, but it can’t match your site, because it already points to your site’s server.

It’s common to use a subdomain like cdn.mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/file.jpg

I made a CNAME from pics.mydomain.com to abc123.cloudfront.net (which points to the bucket), changed in the plugin also, but I get 404 on pics files, have any idea what could it be?

Also in S3 a subfolder is created for every pic like : wp-content/uploads/2017/02/1234567890/name-of-the-pic.jpg is there a way to change that like wordpress default?

About the first question of my previous comment, the setup was good, they apeared, Probably server update.

The second still remains, I don’t know why S3 keeps creating a folder for each uploaded pic and its thumbnail.
