 * I’m testing the free version using picture tag but the images are not showing
   up on the front end. I checked the directory, and the avif files were there but
   did not upload to amazon s3. Does it upload to S3 automatically? I entered the
   cdn url.

 * Hi there,
 * This is Saransh from Imagify, I’ll gladly assist you here!
 * Unfortunately, we are not compatible with AWS S3 or similar CDN services (those
   that use “push” CDN).
 * The main problems are related to WebP as we will not be able to generate them
   and push to CDN, as well as to optimization itself, as we have noticed some issues
   with optimization/transfer to the CDN.
 * Right now, there are no plans to work on compatibility in the near future so
   it would be better to consider one of these two things:
 * – find another image optimization tool that will work with this kind of S3
   –
   switch to ‘pull’ type CDN as Imagify is fully compatible with that stack (basically
   any CDN provider)
 * Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions. I’ll be happy to
   help.
 * Best Regards

 * Hi I upoaded the .avif files using another plugin and it worked. avif files are
   being served from s3 using <picture> tag. The problem now is that the .avif file
   doesn’t load on mobile view. I turned off lazy load and the and the error disappeared:.
   avif files are now loading in the background when I checked dev tools in chrome,
   but they don’t show on the page on mobile.
   I do not have webp version to test
   because I ran out of imagify data. I also noticed that imagify added .htaccess
   code. Since I’m using <picture> tag, can I remove the code?
