Hi I have a huge problem with S2 member ignoring all membership levels.

All my previous users are getting directed to the membership options page no matter what level they are.

Even when logged in as admin... when I try to view my website (front-end)
It take me to the membership options page.

It's causing me customers and alot of headaches.

just let me know what I need to give you so someone can look into it..
I really don't know a lick of code.

"Im thinking it has something to do with another plugins JS.. but even with all plugins disabled - the same thing happens"

    Please advise.

s2Member doesn't apply any retrictions to administrators, so there's something else going on.

I'm guessing you may be having a login session problem. See: http://www.s2member.com/kb/logged-in-but-am-considered-logged-out/

I am noticing the same problem since updating to the latest version of s2member. It happens intermittently, when makes it super hard to debug.

Since updating, we get occasional reports by users who get redirected to the Member Options page. I was able to reproduce it a couple of times, but not consistently. Trying to go to the exact same page again (even using the same link) doesn't trigger the problem.

On some of these, the required level in _s2member_vars on the redirect is 0, which makes no sense these are level 1 users.

These are all links without the www. So I know it's not the problem in the link you provided.

Do you know what is happening?

No, I don't know. My only guess is a login session, as I said above.

You could use an http log (e.g. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/httpfox/) to review all the connections while you reproduce the problem, see if you spot one to your site that uses the www although your site normally doesn't.

Also, if you haven't yet, you could try these: http://www.s2member.com/kb/common-troubleshooting-tips/

    Thanks for your reply Cristian!

I don't think it's a login session issue. The offending links are all the same as the nonoffending ones - no www. And like I said, using the *exact* same link a second time ends up working.

Immediately after upgrading to the latest version of s2Member, we got reports of this problem. I reverted our install of s2Member to 2014-04-23 and the problem immediately stopped for our users.

This makes me believe that something changed in the last couple revisions of s2member. Since I can't reproduce the problem consistently on my side - I only got it to appear once after hours of testing - I'm stuck grasping at straws with this.

Are you aware of any particular things that were changed in the last couple versions of s2Member which may be the source of this?

No, I'm not aware of anything that could be related...

When you have this problem and get incorrectly redirected to the Membership Options Page, what are the s2Member variables in the URL?

You said you can reproduce it sometimes, right? Could you do those tests in a new, clean installation of WordPress with just s2Member added? See if you can find a series of steps that produce the behavior, please. That'd give us something we can investigate.
