  • So I’m creating my own site for some friends and I. I’ve got it hosted elsewhere and I’ve built it using wordpress.org tools. What I would like to do is to be able to have my friends be able to post in the blog, but I’d rather they not have access to all the building tools and all that. If I set up a blog on wordpress.com is there some way for me to have the content posted on there show up on my seperately hosted (but wordpress.org run) website?

this way they can log in and post easily from their phones to the wordpress.com blog and it will show up on our website without running the risk of them screwing things up.

    Thanks!

  • just use the built in wordpress roles on your self hosted wordpress site and people can sign up, create content but can’t screw around with anything sensitive.
