 * Hi,
 * I am trying to achieve the following:
 * Main site:
    [http://www.example.com](http://www.example.com)
 * Site that lists different blogs:
    [http://www.example.com/subfolder](http://www.example.com/subfolder)
 * Individual blogs at:
    [http://www.example.com/subfolder/author1](http://www.example.com/subfolder/author1)
   [http://www.example.com/subfolder/author2](http://www.example.com/subfolder/author2)
 * Example of what I am trying to achieve:
    [http://hypebeast.com/blog/](http://hypebeast.com/blog/)
 * I have Multi-site setup and working, however when i try to make a site called“/
   subfolder/author1/”, I get a 404 error. [http://www.example.com/subfolder](http://www.example.com/subfolder)
   is setup and working.
 * Help is appreciated, thanks!

 * Hypebeast has a single WP install in the root and the multisite install is in
   another folder.
 * Yes, really. Can tell from the html source. And this is the only way you can
   get nested subfolders in multisite.

 * So do I have to setup multisite again in the folder?

 * So I have to have two copies of WordPress (one in root and one in the subfolder),
   and “create a network” with the one in the subfolder?
 * Sorry I’m just learning this and it’s a bit confusing.
 * Thanks 🙂
