# Running the wordpress install script

 * I’m right at the start of using WordPress. I’ve got a domain name and a webhost
   service. I’ve uploaded the wordpress files to the root directory. My book tells
   me to type this into the address window of my browser: [http://velovoyager.id.au/wp-admin/install.php](http://velovoyager.id.au/wp-admin/install.php)(
   note that I’ve put my actual domain name in there). But I get the dreaded HTTP
   404 – File not found.

   Cpanel, then just use FTP to upload the source code.

 * Thank you very much figaro, but I had done all the things the video said to do.
   At the point where I enter the domain name/wp-admin/install.php into my browser,
   I get the 404 message. I’ve logged a support call with my web host – I guess 
   I’ll have to see what they say.
