Running a script inside of a widget?

Hello,
I am attempting to insert the script found at http://jsgadgets.weebly.com/my-scores-for-syndication.html into a widget on my site. I have been able to insert scripts into widgets in the past, and am not sure why this isn’t working. I have tested to make sure that the script works, and it seems to be wordpress that is causing the issue.

I’ve read a bit on the javascript security issue, but have been able to successfully place javascript into a widget in the past, so i’m not sure why this wouldn’t work.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
