rss1 shows 10 posts, rss2 shows 1

  • My RSS 1.0 feed shows 10 recent posts (as expected—I have the setting set to show 10).

    My RSS 2.0 feed shows only 1 post.

    I have searched the archives, and while I find others with this problem I’m not finding a solution.

    Things I’ve tried with no luck:
    switching to default theme
    using /wp-rss2.php directly

    I grabbed the feed files using curl and the entries are there. But nothing (Safari, NewsFire, Firefox, etc.) show more than the first post.

    Ideas?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing the memory available to PHP?
