# RSS redirect using XML not working

 * I recently moved my site [http://luxurywafers.net](http://luxurywafers.net) from
   Squarespace to our current hosting company, running WordPress. Our old RSS was
   generated by Squarespace, and was located here: [http://luxurywafers.net/live/rss.xml](http://luxurywafers.net/live/rss.xml)
 * When we made the switch to the new site, that feed broke. I signed up for Feedburner,
   and now have a working feed at [http://feeds.feedburner.com/luxurywafers/live](http://feeds.feedburner.com/luxurywafers/live).
 * I tried using the XML redirect method from [this site](http://www.therssweblog.com/?guid=20061110102111)
   but cannot get it working. Here’s what I have in my XML redirect file (named 
   rss.xml):
 *     ```
       <?xml version="1.0"?>
       <redirect>
         <newLocation>feed://feeds.feedburner.com/luxurywafers/live?format=xml</newLocation>
         </redirect>
       ```
   
 * If anyone can offer a suggestion as to how I can fix this I would very much appreciate
   it. Thanks.

 * Thanks samboll, I’m using Redirection for a whole bunch of 301 redirects to individual
   posts, but wasn’t able to figure out how to redirect a feed with it. The good
   news is that Google Reader is recognizing the XML redirect, so everything’s all
   good. Safari’s built in RSS reader doesn’t for some reason, but I imagine most
   people don’t use it.
