    Hi,

This query is not related to your plugin. It is related to RSS importer link. Actually I am total new in RSS. Using RSS importer function if I have import any one website 10 post & display this post on my website. So their is nothing wrong in this. Website owner not having any objection OR should I include display website name at end of the ever post. Can you give me better solution to handle this scenario. So that in future no one can come to me & ask how should you import and display this post on your website.

Recently I have face this scenario. I have import 4 post from one website then website owner write me email like:-
“To whom so ever it may concern
This is to notify that you have plagiarized my two posts and it is against the rule and you violated the copyright act,
Pl do remove, otherwise, i will file a case against you and also will be notified to Google as well as to DMCA
This if for your urgent action,
Remove both my content from your page immediately
    and let me know”

After getting this mail I immediately remove his post from my website. Can you tell me how to handle this type of scenario in future.

    Thanks,

  • Hi @thecrazyreader,

We noticed that you have asked a similar question to this on our live chat recently (well, assuming that is you who are asking :).

So here is again our answer to you, and for those who might look for the similar one:

WP RSS Aggregator only provides the mean to import and aggregate content from other sites to yours. With regards to the content you are planning to import, we leave it fully in your hand.

The main thing to keep in mind is that the aggregated content itself is not a substitute for original content but rather the supporting cast.

Generally speaking, content served over RSS feeds is considered fair use since the site owner is providing that content for sharing and syndication purposes. Stating the source is an important thing to do. If you really want to cover all the bases, we recommend you to check each site’s terms and conditions for the use of their feeds if you want to be 100% safe.
