There’s a WP plugin called RSS Poster. In the last couple of days, we’ve been scraped by a couple of different sites using that plugin. They get our feeds — they’re basic feeds; no formatting — and somehow RSS Poster converts them into formatted feeds, with images and all.
Is there a way to block scrapers using RSS Poster — and other such plugins/software — from stealing other sites’ feeds? Of course, I know we can ban the IP addresses of the ones we find, but we were wondering if there’s a way to block the plugin itself (and others like it) from capturing our feeds so as to block the scrapers we haven’t found. This has become a real nuisance.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
