# RSS outputs HTML

 * Hi,
    today I transfered my website to a new host. Because I was to stupid to 
   get my backup to work, I set it all new up (except for post and pages, I managed
   to import that). But now my RSS feed isn’t working and when I put it in my browser
   HTML code appears. I already tried all different addresses and also adding the
   feeds manual to the template. The point I don’t understand is, that it worked
   before I reinstalled it. The website is: [http://www.altisnews.net](http://www.altisnews.net)

 * An RSS feed is just a stream of XML data meant to be interpreted by a feed reader,

   not a browser.

 * Okay, now it’s normal. I guess time solves anything ^^
    When I tried it a few
   our ago the file started with doctype=html (or however its called). Thanks for
