RSS Feeds Invalid Because of Special Characters (5 posts)

I am having problems with special characters. If I use the section sign or the acute (I don't know how to type them, but they were in quoted content), it invalidates my RSS. Perhaps the script should run posts and replace such things before posting them. I know to replace them, but other posters to my site don't.
    Thanks.

Which version of WP do you use? Could you give an example (send the text by e-mail if you prefer)? I'd like to take a look at the problem.

Yes, try upgrading to a newer version. Some older versions had trouble with some characters.

if you are using html in your posts then the RSS feeds will not validate.
open up the wp-rss.php wp-rss2.php and the wp-atom.php files and add lots of CDATA entries
I put them around almost all my data, I will put my versions of the script online when I get home.
