RSS Feeds from the support forums

  • Wasn’t sure where to post this but is anyone else having serious problems with the RSS feeds from the Support forums?

I have a plugin so I’ve take the RSS feed from its base support area so I don’t have to keep checking on here, instead I can see when people post questions in the support area for it.

But recently the RSS updates have started taking days to get picked up. So a Post made on the 11th of this month only just seems to have made it into the RSS feed.

  • Are you using Google Reader?

I am on my phone, I’m not on my laptop and they both do odd things. Think I might clear things down and re-build the feeds in the apps.

There have been issues with some caching readers, especially Google Reader, since the switch to nginx, which … well we argue about why. I installed my own tiny tiny RSS reader and stopped having issues.

Thunderbird still hasn’t picked up on three posts made in the past 8 hours…

I got nothing for a month then I got nearly 100 new messages in one go. Doesn’t matter which reader I use – the RSS feed is pretty much useless.
