So I have my blog set up, but I have a question on how to change the link of the rss feed subscriber.
Our vendor was unable to install the necessary php and sql on our server, so they offered to host it on theirs and then we have set up a re-direct so the DNS settings would point to our url.
However, for the rss feed subscriber, it still points to their server. How do I change the link for “entries” in the sidebar.php so that it points to our link for the rss feeds?
To reiterate, this is the code in the sidebar.php file
<li id=”rssfeeds”>Subscribe: “>Entries
I would like to know how to change the (‘rss2_url’) so that it points to the rss feed subscriber for
Thanks so much, please help!
Why not just use http://blog.iongeo.com/?feed=rss2 since that’s valid and working?
Oh see that’s the thing, I totally would but I don’t know how to change the link in the sidebar.php so that http://blog.iongeo.com/?feed=rss2
appears instead of the http://ionblog.brandextract.com/?feed=rss2 as it appears now.
if you go to blog.iongeo.com and click on subscribe – entries you will see that that url changes to the vendor’s. I want it so that our server appears.
Your feed works fine and validates.
You do have some errors, most related to the video, here, http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3a%2f%2fblog.iongeo.com%2f
Have a look in header,.php and see what is between <li class="last-item"> and </li>. It might help if you post just that line here.
Ah, Thanks Esmi.
Also thanks for the validator suggestion, I will see if I can clean some of this up…
