RSS feed subscriber drop-off since upgrading

    I was slow to the 2.3.1 upgrade, only switching over last week (because I feared the tag changes would work against the system I had in place using Ultimate Tag Warrior).

    Since I upgraded from 2.2.1 to 2.3.1, I’ve noticed a steep drop-off in the number of RSS feed subscribers I have now compared with before the upgrade. I’ve always used Feedburner and the Feedburner Feed Replacement Plugin with no problems. Feedburner’s site shows no problem with my feed. The plugin’s working. I’ve checked my feed in other sites and everything’s going through, though it’s not updating as quickly should I make changes as it did before the upgrade.

    I’m totally mystified as to why I’ve lost a third of my readers since the upgrade. I don’t even know where to look to find a problem; everything seems to be working.

    Any ideas what might have been altered in going from 2.2.1 to 2.3.1?

    Okay, so the problem rectified itself.

    How? By upgrading to 2.3.2.

    I wish I understood why that would be. Hope this helps someone else.
