Support » Plugin: WP RSS Aggregator » RSS feed rendering in Firefox

  • Resolved luigidel

I have installed WP RSS Aggregator plugin in the hope that it could solve the issues I have come across but it did not.

1)My RSS feed ( does not display properly on Firefox (it renders ok on Internet Explorer).

Firefox renders my feed the following way:
“This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.” and renders it as an XML tree.

When I go through W3C RSS validator (, it says:

“This feed is valid, but interoperability with the widest range of feed readers could be improved by implementing the following recommendations.”

“line 52, column 0: content:encoded should not contain data-attachment-id attribute [help]
line 52, column 0: content:encoded should not contain data-permalink attribute [help]

It seems to be coming from the image at the top of my blog posts.

What can I do to get a proper Firefox rendering of my RSS feed?
    Is there a free solution?
Do I have to alter a code to remove the forbidden attributes? Where do I find this code?

    2) Is there a solution for rendering RSS feed on Google Chrome?

Thanks a lot and have a nice day

    Hi Luigi (@luigidel),

We tried fetching your Feed URL with WP RSS Aggregator and we’re able to import the feed items.

    See screenshot below:

So somehow, it’s working with our plugins.

But if what you’re looking for is a way to make your feed works in Firefox and Google Chrome, then we’re afraid we can’t help you much with that since it’s out of our scope.

You may try asking your question in more general topics such as here or here. Or you can find list of the other topics here.

Best of luck finding an answer to your problem.
