• Hello,

On the blog I have set up here:

    blog.iongeo.com

When a user clicks on RSS or subscribe to entries using Chrome, there is an error without an option to subscribe to a reader, etc.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

    Thanks.

  • Well there’s nothing wrong with your feed.

Chrome does not have native support for RSS; in my blog, when you hit the RSS Subscribe button you get a screen full of text. The “Workaround” is to have Chrome “bookmarklets” on your Chrome bookmark bar (a couple are here – http://www.feeds.ramisp.org), but that in itself is not helpful for an unsuspecting user of Chrome who hits the RSS button in your blog and thinks your blog is busted.

I’m snarfing around looking for a bit of detection code that will guide the Chrome users on how to avoid this error.

    Mark
