 * I have a previous help question from about 3 weeks ago, but no one has solved
   my issue. So, I’m submitting another topic. Is there a way to edit the enclosure
   urls in the source feed? According to Podtrac (where we receive our mirrored
   feed that we place in iTunes) the issue is that the new feed from Seriously Simple
   Podcast with HTTPS, is still not valid. So, Podtrac won’t update their mirrored
   feed to HTTPS.
 * A contact from Podtrac said: “It’s the enclosure urls in your source feed that
   need to be updated to use https. Right now they’re still http. We can not make
   any assumptions that it’s safe to change someone’s urls to https. We need the
   enclosure url to tell us that a particular media file is available via https
   before we’ll inject the https version of the Podtrac prefix.”
 * Is this edit possible? I hope you can help me.
 * Anna

 * In addition, the only thing that I see that could maybe be tripping up Podtrac
   is that in the feed – there is a link back to our website which is not https,
   even though our website has been moved to HTTPS.

 * Hi Anna, we’re looking into how to best solve this with https in file enclosures.
   Seems to affect the cover image most often. We’re working on a major new release
   for the plugin that should come in the next few weeks. Hoping to be able to tackle
   this at that time.
 * One of the things we’re looking at is what SSL cert people are using. Where are
   you getting yours? Just want to cover as many bases as possible there too.
 * Thanks for the details.

 * Hi Craig,
 * That is great news! How soon do you think you’ll have the update? My only concern
   is that iTunes is requiring HTTPS feeds in the immediate future and I don’t want
   to have an issue with our feed being kicked off of iTunes or something similar
   to that.
 * We received our SSL cert from our website host, 1&1.com.
 * Thanks,

 * We will be releasing an updated version of the plugin within the next few weeks(
   can’t say exactly when just yet), and we’re hoping to have HTTPS included then,
   which should solve this enclosure URL issue entirely.

 * Is there any word on the new update being implemented?

 * Hi Anna
 * I am working with Craig from PodcastMotor to update some of the core plugin functionality.
   He has asked me to look into this issue specifically and get it sorted out for
   you.
 * To do so I would like to speak with you directly to help troubleshoot the problem.
   Would you mind emailing me at [jonathanbossenger@gmail.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/rss-feed-needs-to-be-https-issue-with-enclosure-urls/jonathanbossenger@gmail.com?output_format=md)?
 * Regards
