RSS Feed Links Now "nofollow"? (4 posts)

I noticed that the RSS feature links within the Yoast plugin (WordPress SEO > RSS settings) are now defaulting to "nofollow".

    Why?

And what is the best way to return it to follow links?

Someone pointed this out to me today.

This article seems to address their reasoning
    https://yoast.com/rss-feeds-panda-penguin/

    and how to change it:
""We’ve added a filter nofollow_rss_links that defaults to true. If you return false on that filter the nofollow will be removed but there will be no option to do so in the settings area for the plugin as I think it’s a bad idea.""

But it seems unnecessary and like a misuse.

But not where that filter is.

So does anyone have any idea how to remove the nofollow attribute on rss links when using the yoast wordpress seo plugin?

You can change the filter nofollow_rss_links by edit plugins file /wordpress-seo/frontend/class-frontend.php. Then search nofollow_rss_links and change the true to false.
