RSS Feed link errors … Default Theme

Ok, I might be missing something here or maybe not … I have searched these forums, no luck yet …

I have WordPress installed on a couple of websites and I am using the RIN theme mainly. On the sites that have the RIN theme at the bottom of each page is the link to RSS page (this works!!!)

When I use the default template/theme, the RSS link at the bottom of the page adds a ‘feed’ before the URL causing an error

WORKING: Example with RIN Theme RSS Link (at bottom of page):
http://www.directorydrive.com/blog/wp-rss2.php

Not Working: Eample with default theme:
feed:http://www.midnitejamm.com/musicblog/wp-rss2.php
